Self Soothe

Soothe serves as a visual representation of misguided coping mechanisms. I feel it's a universal experience to seek comfort in empty pleasure or other forms of temporary stimulation when life is overwhelming, or mental hurdles make days feel bleak. To soothe the pain or escape their current reality, one might engage in a quick fix that only makes them more vulnerable and contributes to the larger issue.
